Individual Counseling
Our goal in individual counseling is to help people discover their gifts, strengths, and available
resources. In addition, we help the client learn how to use these resources to address their life
issues. The Solution Focused Brief Therapy model along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy are
the clinical models used in pursuit of this goal. Although some client issues may take significantly
longer, it has been our experience that many clients can successfully complete therapy in 3 to 5
sessions. Individual counseling rates are $75 per 45 minute session. Brazosport Counseling
Services is currently accepting clients from age twelve and up.

Marriage Counseling
Our goal in marriage counseling is not only to save the marriage, but to help each spouse discover
how to be personally fulfilled in the marriage covenant. Our primary focus is to help the client discover
what is or has been good about the marriage and how to build on that foundation. Clinical techniques
from Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will be applied in pursuit of
these goals. Marriage counseling rates are $75 per 45 minute session.

Group Counseling
Our goal in group counseling is to bring together people with similar challenges to provide support,
educate, and provide counseling with less cost to the client. Typically groups are formed for those
issues that require more time in therapy and several clients share similar challenges. Most groups
will have workbook material to be completed outside of group to be discussed during group sessions.
All group members will be screened, required to follow group rules, and sign a confidentiality
agreement. Group rates are dependent on the number of individuals participating in the group.
Group rates will not exceed $75 per 90 minute session.

Speaking and Teaching
Brazosport Counseling Services would be honored to provide a Licensed Professional Counselor
to speak at your event or to teach a small group in your organization. We can suggest a topic for
your event, or you may request a topic. If we don't have a counselor available, we will assist you in
finding a counselor to serve your organization. Brazosport Counseling Services only charges for
consumable materials in our speaking and teaching engagements. In order to serve our client's
with financial difficulties, we ask that you would consider an honorarium in the speakers name to
Brazosport Counseling Services. All honorariums will be directly applied to providing reduced cost
counseling to those in financial need.
